7th Grade Vaccinations REQUIRED

All students entering 7th grade are required to have their Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) and Meningococcal vaccinations. Please contact your child’s health care provider this summer to schedule an appointment. The school nurse will need a copy of your child’s immunization record on the first day of school to show proof of these two vaccinations.

Updated Middle School Local Promotion Standards (Grades 6-8)

Students in grades 6-8 must pass English /Language Arts, mathematics, and three additional subjects to be selected from arts, social studies, science, physical education, career technical education, or elective courses to be promoted. End of Grade (EOG) Test scores may be used to support a promotion/retention decision, but shall not be used as the sole criteria.

Literacy Without Barriers Homework Help

Neuse Regional Libraries: Literacy Without Barriers Homework Help is a free afterschool tutoring program that provides homework help and tutoring in math, reading, and writing by teachers and volunteers. STEM enrichment activities will also be offered.

Our tutoring program helps to prepare children for success in school and future life experiences. Tutoring sessions will take place on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-6:00 pm at the Greene Public Library.

StudentAccess accounts are automatically set up for all students in partnership with the local school systems. To use digital resources, enter the full student ID number when asked for a library card number and the last four digits of the student ID when asked for a PIN number.
